DESCRIPTION
Project Brief

The State College Little Lions wanted a design for their annual yearbook. The yearbook is handed out to the players and their families at the annual awards banquet. The goal of the design was to celebrate the Little Lions’ successful season and capture the fun and excitement they experienced along the way.

Approach
As I looked through the many photographs provided to me, one image in particular caught my attention. It was a shot of high school kids sitting courtside completely enthralled as they cheered and supported their team. Their facial expressions convey pure joy and absolute bedlam, and it became the backdrop for the wraparound cover. Key seniors on the team are highlighted in color on the front page, and they interact with the type, mimicking the dynamic quality of the sport.

Outcome
The basketball team has a memento that will remind them of their accomplishments and good times from the 2005-2006 season.
