Project Brief
Design signage for the Penn State Recycles program that encourages cooperation and shows the user how to easily participate.
Approach
A green monochromatic color scheme makes the purpose of the signage quickly recognizable: recycling is good for the environment! The simplicity of the imagery and clean graphics translate to the the simplicity and cleanliness of the recycling process.
Outcome
Penn State units using the new signage package experienced dramatic increased participation in the recycling program.
