Created in the days preceding the first anniversary of the January 6 assault on the United States Capitol, this illustration became a cathartic outlet for me. It allowed me to channel my anger and frustration toward the political party I had once taken pride in.
The Lincoln Project showcased this artwork on their social media platforms during prime time on the first anniversary, garnering nearly 70,000 likes on Instagram and 10,000 shares on Facebook.
